Introducing the delectable Quick & Easy Chocolate Protein Balls - the perfect guilt-free indulgence for fitness enthusiasts and health-conscious foodies alike! Packed with wholesome ingredients, these scrumptious treats deliver a mouthwatering burst of flavor while satisfying your protein needs.
What you need:
1 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup ground flax seed
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 scoop chocolate protein powder (we used Optimal Nutrition Gold Standard)
2 Tbsp date syrup
1/2 cup natural peanut butter
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup water
pinch of sea salt
1/4 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
Makes approximately 16 balls.
Instructions:
1. Place the rolled oats, ground flax seed, cinnamon, chocolate protein powder, date syrup, peanut butter, vanilla extract, water, and sea salt in a food processor. Pulse until the ingredients are blended.
2. Transfer the mixture to a large bowl and add the chocolate chips. Stir to combine. Press the mixture together into a large heap.
3. Form 1" balls and place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Cover and place in the refrigerator for 2 hours. Enjoy!
Hint: If using unflavored or vanilla protein powder, add 1 Tbsp cocoa powder for that chocolate goodness!
